Reading...I have the worst headache from reading so much the past week. I've read nine chapters so far amongst my textbooks. Approximately 300 pages worth of tiny text for anthropology, physical geography, and history. I still have three to read for my online class so that I can catch up. I also have the current chapter I'm part of the way through for history. x X
So yeah... not much this past week except reading, reading, FFX with ~waterdancer, reading, reading, getting the sizing done for ~AmethystaG's wedding, reading, reading, oh btw! Did I mention MORE READING? o O Oh yesh... and the other night I was SUPERCRAZYHAPPYFUNTIME hyper on choco1337 milk. *nod* Maybe later I'll post some of what I said during that time. XD
Yeah... I hope to finish two more chapters today at work. After that I'm taking a break to maybe write a letter or two to a couple of people. (I promise they won't be suicide notes. XD )
Other than that, I have a sort of list of things I want to do when I finally have free time.
1. Finish my sketch challenge from my journal.
2. Color them! (Pray I don't fuck up too hard...)
3. RP - ~Oniookami and I have a notebook or two and *Morbid-Joke contacted me on MSN messenger! <3
4. I'm going to start spontaneously write stories. I have a folder or even a journal, just for it. However, I think I'm going to use the folder because I have several stories in mind. So in case I'm thinking of one more than the others, I can flip to a new tab and start.
5. Commissions. I'd like to open them up and start building up funds to fix my car.
6. Penpals. I like writing... Like... physically writing, and sending mails... the old fashioned way. I sent a letter to ~SketchGEEK already... but I think I'll send another one with better paper and a couple of drawings. ^ ^
7. World of Warcraft. (Granted I have to get a video card for this... but my new motherboard might be able to handle it a little at least. That is once I get a new motherboard. Waiting until this payday...) I don't plan on playing as much as I used to, but I miss doing that when I had nothing else to do. Now that I've pretty much cleaned up my room and caught up with classes, I know that sooner or later an art/writing block will hit me. And DDR only lasts so long before either the heat gets to me, or my ankles start to give out. Since I don't have a tv in my room either, it makes it a little difficult for me to play video games. Though, who knows, maybe I'll take up FFVII again.
8. I might consider looking up free sewing classes at JoAnn's. (I think I spelled that right lol ) It's a cloth material and sewing store. Recently, ~waterdancer's cosplaying has inspired me to do my own, and ~AmethystaG's grandmother making her wedding dress and the bridesmaids' gowns really made me start to think about taking my really old clothes, and making something new out of them. Maybe I could even get away with making clothes that I draw later on in the near future. ^ ^
9. Getting into computer coloring... Though this is a REAL long shot. XD I really get frustrated with coloring on the computer. Anyone know of some really simple tutorials?
10. I might start doing memes. XD I see them all over the place and I've been tagged... Might as well right?
